For dealers, filling plants and businesses building a gas brand, ordering LPG cylinders in batches directly from the factory gives you control over quantity, specifications and quality documentation. Knowing the process helps you prepare complete information and avoid mistakes. Below are the steps when ordering production through VietnhatGas’s LPG cylinder manufacturing service.
Step 1: Send a request
The clearer the information, the more accurate the quotation. It is best to include:
Capacity: 12kg, 45kg or another capacity.
Estimated quantity and collection plan (a single shipment or several).
Paint colour, logo and the content to be stamped on the cylinder if you are building your own brand.
Valve type: POL, QCC, or cylinders supplied without valves as agreed.
Delivery location and preferred timing.
Step 2: Technical consultation
Our technical team works with you to agree the specifications: the applicable standard (VietnhatGas cylinders are manufactured to TCVN 6292:2013, with reference to ISO 22991), the valve type suited to equipment in your market, the paint colour and the logo position. If you are not sure which cooperation model to choose, see what are OEM, ODM and OBM.
Step 3: Quotation
The quotation is based on capacity, quantity, paint and logo specifications, valve type and delivery terms. The factors affecting price are explained in what determines LPG cylinder price.
Step 4: Sample approval
For private-label orders, the factory makes a sample for the customer to check the paint colour, logo, stamped lettering and the cylinder as a whole. The customer confirms the sample before mass production; the approved sample is the basis for accepting the batch. For how to prepare brand information, see ordering private-label LPG cylinders.
Step 5: Sign the contract and agree payment
The contract clearly states the specifications, quantity, price, schedule, acceptance criteria, accompanying documents, delivery terms and warranty. Payment methods and schedule follow our payment policy and the specific terms agreed in the contract.
Step 6: Production
The batch goes through the main stages in this order: cutting and deep drawing steel plate into cylinder bodies; welding the body and components, with stress-relief heat treatment of the neck area according to the applicable procedure; hydrostatic testing and leak testing of every cylinder; surface cleaning, powder coating and curing; embossing and printing of information and logo; and finally valve fitting, final inspection and packing. Production time depends on quantity and specifications; the specific schedule is agreed when the contract is signed.
Step 7: Quality control and inspection
Cylinders are checked throughout production: welds are inspected right after welding; LPG cylinder pressure testing and leak testing are carried out on every cylinder before cleaning and coating, to the applicable standard; dimensions and coating are checked at final inspection before the cylinders leave the factory. Each batch is delivered with an inspection report, an outgoing quality inspection sheet and a list of serial numbers.
Step 8: Packing and delivery
Valve necks are protected, and cylinders are stacked upright and securely strapped for transport. Delivery scope, method and costs follow our delivery policy. On receipt, count the cylinders, check the serial numbers and inspect the exterior before signing the delivery note.
Step 9: After-sales
After receiving the goods, customers are supported in handling cylinders with manufacturing defects under our return and warranty policy, and receive advice on storage, cylinder management and planning top-up orders for subsequent rounds.
Tips for a smooth order
Confirm specifications in writing and avoid changing the paint colour or logo after the sample has been approved.
Plan to order early, ahead of the peak gas consumption season.
Prepare space, unloading staff and storage before the delivery date.
Before planning a top-up order, dealers should re-estimate their actual needs; our guide to calculating how many cylinders a gas dealer needs suggests how to calculate by turnover and balance the mix of 12kg and 45kg cylinders.
